What immediately stands out about the 'lax' card holder is the salmon leather. With its distinctive look, it is no coincidence that fashion designers are using this type of leather more and more often!

Salmon leather is extremely strong due to the fibrous structure of the hide. Whereas in other traditional leather types the fibres lie next to each other, in fish leather the fibre structure is interwoven. Salmon leather is the strongest in this respect.

Maintenance

If the product feels dry over time or if you have not used it for a long time, it is recommended to use a conditioner to nourish the leather and keep it supple.

Always test your conditioner on an invisible place first!

If you use the product regularly there will be no need to use the conditioner as the leather absorbs our natural body oils. This will make the leather shine over time and develop a beautiful patina.

Key Features

  • Hand sewn

    The saddle stitch is one of the strongest methods of sewing leather. Two needles are attached to one thread and cross each other at each stitch. This creates a strong bond. If the thread should break at this stitch, it will not come loose any further because it is held back by the thread on the other side.

  • Vegetable & Chrome Tanned

    Both vegetal and chrome-tanned leather was used in this cardwallet. The salmon leather was vegetal tanned and the calf leather was chrome tanned.
